7 Well-Known Celebrities Travel Trailer RV Mobile Home Set-Up

Be honest, what comes to your mind when you first think of mobile homes? Is it a low-income trailer park, or a large RV/Caravan that your family used to take out on a camping trip?  Most people have reservations about RV life and living on the road because it seems extremely uncomfortable and unreasonable. However, it doesn’t have to be! Shows like Celebrity Motorhome has shown us over the last decade, just how fancy motor and mobile homes can be!

Over the years, people who have had to be able to travel for work, while living out of their vehicles, have taken mobile home living to a level like never before! Since most celebrity entertainers have to travel so often, quite a few of them invest in some extremely expensive and extravagant ‘mobile’ homes, workspaces, and party pads – showing just how versatile high-end RVs and mobile homes can be.

While there are hundreds, if not thousands, of celebrities who travel with their own version of an RV, some celebrities are well known for taking it to a whole other level. Let’s take a look at some of the most well-known celebrity mobile setups!

Jason Momoa’s EarthRoamer

Designed by the Colorado-based company EarthRoamer, Jason Momoa’s XV-LTi model is a dynamic blend of both luxury and comfort on wheels. Built on the foundation of an AWD Ford F-550, with all the power of a 6.7 liter Power stroke turbo diesel engine, the EarthRoamer comes with solar charging, a digital control system and mobile Internet for working on the go. It is designed for those that wish to o travel deep into the outdoors, without giving up on modern luxuries.

Vin Diesel’s Comfy Cabin

While Vin Diesel’s actual ownership of his trailer traveler is dubious at best, the fact remains that he traveled in his motor home for years! It traveled around the world with him, as he shot for movies, always on the move from one location to the next. With a raised roof and 1100 sq. ft. of living space, this motor home was perfect for Diesel’s family to travel with him. With two internal levels, a media room, kitchen, living room, suede sofas, and a private conference room, this is definitely one of the most versatile celebrity motor homes!

Will Smith’s The Heat

Will Smith’s larger-than-life motorhome, known simply as The Heat, is a gargantuan home on wheels. It is a 22-wheel, 55-foot, two-story RV with over 1200 sq. ft. of living areas, and an incredible range of amenities. While Will Smith doesn’t own it anymore, he did for years, surrounded by metallic panels, custom leather interiors, over 15 TVs, and over $100,000 of custom addition technology. Its most recognizable feature was the expanding roof that added over 42 inches of height to the vehicle!

Timbaland’s Music Studio On The Go

As one might expect from an acclaimed music producer, Timbaland doesn’t take breaks from his craft, often recording music while he travels in his extravagant RV, which includes a state-of-the-art recording studio. With a colorful exterior, the RV has plenty of space and amenities for Timbaland, his crew, and his guests to enjoy. Blackout blinds, colorful indoor strip lighting, large leather sofas, and multiple security cameras cover the interior of the RV. His music studio includes a vocal booth, a double-level keyboard set, and soundproof doors!

Simon Cowell’s The Hollywood

Simon Cowell is no stranger to luxurious living, and just as well, this media mogul owns his own high-end RV, to operate his business while traveling. The RV has over 1200 sq. ft. of space, with a shiny silver exterior. The space can double itself at the click of a button, opening out to a further 22×14 feet. Covered in Italian leather, television screens and extravagant mirrored ceilings, Cowell also had custom shades installed to be able to maintain his privacy. Not to forget, the RV also has a 24-hour doctor’s office hidden away within it!

Jamie Foxx’s Studio on Wheels

Jamie Foxx bought his huge motor home in order to host an online talk show, where he would sit with his guests and riff about movies, music, life, and other things! He had it customized to look like an armored truck from the outside, with overlying gold-plated sheets fitted onto the exterior. With gold fixtures, a record player, wooden flooring and a technologically advanced studio, this motorhome served multiple purposes – a home, a studio and a travel vehicle, all in one! The motor home’s Grey Goose bar was well known as a great place to grab a drink while on the road, and served as a host to a number of high-profile celebrities!

Tom Hank’s Airstream

Tom Hanks bought his motor home in the early 1990s, as an empty shell, completely customizing the insides by himself. He used the 35 ft. long space to entertain guests throughout his career. He decided to buy his own trailer and customize it since the trailers available to him on sets were just not as comfortable as he would have liked. It had a kitchen, dining area, bathroom and bedroom, so while it wasn’t as luxurious as some of the others on this list, it served its purpose! It was also one of the cheaper celebrity motor homes to be sold, raising over $235,000 when it went on sale in 2021.

While these homes would probably be out of the average person’s budget, they stand as examples of how mobile homes have become as modern as traditional housing options. One can also get park model RV insurance at a reduced cost. If you have been thinking about making a change in the way you live, or in traveling (while having a home on wheels), you could use these luxurious examples to identify what you may want in your mobile home!
